We know that family life can bring questions, challenges, and moments where you need the right support at the right time. Warrington's Family Hubs are here to help when you need it.
Who are Family Hubs for?
Family Hubs are welcoming spaces where parents, parents-to-be, carers and children can come to learn, develop and get help from key services.
We provide support with a strong focus on early years (from conception to age five) to help children get the best start in life and be ready for school.
You can get help if you’re:
- a parent or carer of a child aged 0 to 19, or 25 with special educational needs or a disability
- pregnant
- a young person up to the age of 19, or up to 25 if you have special educational needs or a disability.
What you can expect
- A friendly team on site that can help you to access services and information
- Antenatal and postnatal services with Community Midwives
- Development reviews and advice drop-in sessions with Health Visitors
- Support with breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and introducing solid foods to your baby
- Play and learning sessions such as ‘PEEP’ for you and your child to socialise and learn new things
- Baby Massage classes
- Speech and Language programmes
- Parenting courses
- Citizens Advice, DWP and Housing
